School Welcome Banners

School welcome banners introduce students to their new mascot-centric school climate. Welcome banners are part of a custom-designed PBIS Roll Out Kit, which also includes posters, signs, gotcha rewards, activity sheets, t-shirts, and other visual aids to teach students positive behavior traits and expectations. Featuring their mascot as a role model, students look to these visual aids daily for direction and encouragement. Seeing a visual representation of positive behavior expectations helps students model their own behavior after a sterling example, which you control – their mascot. We have more than 60 mascots in our clipart library, and each comes with it’s own PBIS Roll Out Kit.

Voice Levels Poster

Voice Levels Posters explain voice level expectations for various areas of a school. On one Voice Levels Poster, the eagle mascot exhibits three voice levels students can use within their school at Edgewood Elementary. Explaining voice level expectations for various areas of the school is an important part of a school’s PBIS, or positive character trait, program. When a mascot uses level 0 in a library, students will look up to their role model and exhibit positive behavior traits, such as listening or focusing. The voice level posters will let students know what voice level to use in other areas of the school, too. These posters are particularly helpful to explain behavioral expectations for classrooms or even special events.

Voice Levels Poster

With more than 50 different mascots, we can easily customize a Voice Levels Poster to meet your school’s needs to help everyone communicate in your positive school climate today.

School Signs and Banners for Pick Up and Drop Off Areas

Creating a safe space for Pick Up and Drop Off areas at schools is a vital part of your school’s positive climate. With a customized PBIS banner or A-Frame sign, you can direct visitors effectively and safely for your students, staff, and guests.

A-Frames are easy to use, lightweight, and durable. By placing these on the sidewalk near vehicles in a Pick Up and Drop Off area, drivers are more likely to see important directions up close. These frames can also be placed on walking paths for students. Customize these signs further by using a dry-erase A-Frame sign, featuring your school’s mascot and a voice bubble where the message can change for special events, such as fundraisers, PTO meetings, assemblies, and more.

PBIS Banners are customized with your mascot and message to show expectations for an area from a distance. These banners are popular, because students are able to read instructions and other messages from a longer distance. Use them in populated areas, such as the cafeteria or the Pick Up and Drop Off area at your school. We can also incorporate your customized PBIS program into the design.

PBIS Poster used by Macmillan Higher Education

A PBIS Poster was featured in the 5th edition of How Children Develop by Robert S. Siegler. Sold by Macmillan Higher Education, How Children Develop is a widely read textbook, which explains how climate affects children’s education, and PBIS has affected education in a positive way.

PBIS is a school-wide program designed to change a school’s overall climate by reducing negative behaviors while increasing positive ones. Instead of only focusing on punishing bad behavior, students are rewarded for exhibiting positive character traits, and all of these positive character traits are taught by a customized mascot.

Mascot-centric learning is effective and fun. When a role model, such as the Eagle, teaches positive behavior traits through a custom PBIS theme, students are united by a sense of community, and that community naturally creates a positive school climate. Through PBIS mascots and themes, teachers can encourage and explain positive character traits through custom clipart, posters, banners, coloring pages, and more, while students also learn behavioral expectations and rules for every section of the school.

The Blue Jay Mascot at Berlin Memorial School

Soren the Blue Jay

Soren the Blue Jay

The Blue Jay mascot at Berlin Memorial School is named Soren, but Soren is much more than just a school mascot. Soren is the central figure and foundation of Berlin Memorial School’s program for creating a positive school climate.

At BMS, the Blue Jay’s PBIS theme is SOAR—Safety, Organization, Achievement, and Respect—and the school asked us to incorporate their pre-designed mascot into our school banners and posters. BMS enjoyed our banner design featuring the Blue Jay mascot riding in a hot air balloon. While their SOAR motto trails out behind it, the BMS theme words can be found on the hot air balloon as Soren soars forward.
